Neighbourhood Grants Program

The Carlingford Neighbourhood Grants program has been developed by Cedar Woods in recognition of the important role that the community groups play in building healthy and vibrant neighbourhoods. The program is funded by Cedar Woods through a percentage of sales from every lot sold.

Cedar Woods would like to thank everyone who applied for a Carlingford Neighbourhood Grant in 2010. Our panel of community representatives was overwhelmed by the number and worthiness of the applications, and is heartened to see such a diversity of non-profit programs supporting all walks of life.

• Arbias Ltd - board games & art craft supplies
• Lalor Tennis Club - tennis equipment
• Congolese Community of Vic Inc - public liability costs & equipment
• Lalor Links - establishing community co-operative
• Plenty Valley Netball Association - come & try netball day
• Hands on Health Australia - portable treatment benches & disposeables
• Epping Scout Group - tables and folding chairs
• Plenty Valley Church - white goods
• Jacaranda Preschool - bilingual picture books
• Barry Road Tennis Club - tennis equipment
• Sporting Whittlesea Small Sided FC Inc - equipment & uniforms  
• Whittlesea Community Connections - picnic to celebrate internation volunteers day
• Thomastown United Cricket Club - new sports equipment
• Mill Park Swimming Club - funding of swimming competition
• Northcrest Calisthenics Club - materials & costumes  
• Epping Preschool - upgrade of outdoor equipment
